Someday its gonna make sense

If the Chicago Bulls have a Michael Jordan and a Tony Kukoc, the seniors too have their own basketball greats – to mention a couple Joselito Cantil and Mark Denis Bulos. They leave their sweaty basketball jockeys to Leoj Calma and Mark Meneses.

When these girls speak, the words come out swift and fluent. English is like their native tongue, and with their high-pitched tone, they could pass as Uncle Sam’s niece. They are Elaine Villanueva and Sarah Sta. Ana. They pass their tone and tongue to Pauline Villanueva and Edmer Cendana.

When boredom strikes during class hours, everyone tries to keep him or herself from falling asleep, except for these students: Brian Varias, Marielle Garin, and Kenmar dela Rosa.
They leave their sleeping pillows to Cesar Bucayan and Mark Puentes.

With a most vivid imagination, this person can manipulate English like no one else. Her reading habits have led her to acquire the amazing ability to build castles in the air that allows her to space out sometimes – and she, Faye Ordas passes on this talent to Keannu Lapitan.

If "A picture is worth a thousand words", then the most numbered would be Darrelle Matienzo and Ferdinand Santos. However their generosity in sharing their talents makes them even better than Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci. They leave the finishing touches to Angelo Mercado and Yasmin Napoles.

Nothing is sweeter than candy and kisses – except the sweet syrup and cream-covered nature of Ann Jilly Fabian and Rhyzll Rhyll Bullas. But she is even more sugary this time as she passes on her honeyed sweetness to Patricia Geroza and Nicole Medina.

She can dress up in the sassiest styles possible and if there is anyone who takes more care of her looks than our own Jelany Damasco and Remy Cano, she would be having facial surgery. Their ability to beautify is passed on to another lover of beauty –Edzel Calubad and Aira Janine Latoga.

The baby is now a lady. Though she already grew up to be a young, fine lass, Kathleen Valle will always be our baby girl. She leaves her prudent, pretty and petite looks to Mariah Fernandez.

The Medieval Times is a period of knighthood, an age of chivalry when knights battled dragons, rescued fair maidens and fought for their honor. The Medieval times are still alive today, thanks to our knights in shining armor, Jesie Tatac, Errol Martinez, and Francoise Dotdot. They pass on their armor to Naoyuki Nakajima and Charldeen Rosal.

ABHS is alive with the sound of music sung by the songbirds –Paula Geroza, Abhie Alcantara, Janica Phua, Erika Sta. Ana, and Michael Manez. They leave their melodic and harmonic voices to Abigail Antonio, April Segales, Edzel Calubad, Sharrie Anne Hernandez, and Inos Ballesteros.

The big boys in class are everything but the big bully. They are instead the witty, class clowns Jonathan Ochoa, Jess Narag, and Paul de Leon, who pas their wise cracks and one-liners to Bernabe, and Rizaldee Cabello.

Back in the romantic days, knights set out in quests to rescue damsels in distress. If we have our knights in shining armor around, then our damsels in distress can’t be far. They are the traditional, innocent and well-loved Rimalyn Clar, Lalaine Roa, and Jestine Grimaldo, who pass on their distress calls to Xyleem Duno, Allen Nota, and Jesalie Paja.

Walking on tiptoe, and with their head high, they could be the only military generals who flaunt with style. They are Kate Villalobos, and Joy Villacorta, and they leave behind their fancy gait to Jasmin Montes, and Marjorie Cataluna.

If Vogue, Seventeen, or Glamour were to look for a new cover girl in ABHS, one girl from the seniors would grab the spot hands-down. She is none other than the tantalizing Janice Flores, who passes on her cover girl looks to next-in-line Michelle Celeste.

As we would have put it, this girl is addicted… with numbers and science, that is. Carla Montes passes her title to Kenny Jay Taga-Amo.

They may look cool and simple outside, but they are fire burning inside the courts. Diane Tanquezon, Patricia Sillesa, Erica Gailo, and Jane Operana leave their torn kneepads to Abigail Antonio and Angelique Valencia.

These boys had proven that volleyball is not a girl-dominated sport. Male species could do great as well. And so Herben Pangan, Jonel Doliente, and Reonne Boquiren inherit their hard hitting spikes to Dave Aceres.

They make you stand up and move on your feet. The unbeatable moves and grooves of Meredette James, Mary Rose Tumala, AK Usi, Nica Santellices, Kyla Floes, and Froilan Malimban are now in the best care of Denise Santos, Katya Daitol, and Joenald Beado.

The early bird catches the worm. Most noted for being prompt, Cheska Palisoc, Lianna Gadong, and Rose Ann Cruz, pass their early bird routine to Raph Corpuz, and Aeriel Salonga.

If anyone can do magic with a make-up kit – and paint faces, it would be Cris Cruz, Precious Rejano, and Angelica Caasi. Now, they leave their make-up kit to Nica de Guzman, Jennylyn Cruz, and Vanessa Velasco.

They’re the life of the party, and they bring the house down with the strums of their guitar, and beat of their drums. Though Jerome Factor, Albert Landayan, Eric Inoy, Mark Tulop, and Dwight Mateo will leave high school, the music won’t stop. It will be continued by Maruzzo, Dan Ginez, and Pauline Calvento.

A memorable high school experience needs a good student council, so the senior officers, led by Carla Montes and Charles Tumbaga, willingly give the responsibilities to the future leaders and wish them the luck and success.

Don't be in awe (over!) with the words and grammar. We just got that somewhere, and edited. Hahaha! And don't mind the title. I was listening to MLTR's It's gonna make sense, and can't think of any title about this. Haha! Apologies.

A Dementor's kiss

This feels like when Harry Potter encountered a Dementor in Hogwarts train. All the happiness inside him was sucked out. It felt like he will never be happy again.

I am frustrated right. at. this. moment. It started just this morning. I was late for our examinations because of watching MYX International Top 20. You know how absorbed I get when I watch anything music related, right? So I immediately took out my pen, calculator and a scratch paper as soon as I got into my seat. My mind was totally jammed, and it took me one long minute to sink in the things that was happening. I was so slow. Like, I still needed to stare and reread the questions just to select the best answer. Then, I sucked at the Filipino exams. I already got six answers wrong. I know that I will not like the outcome of it. Yes, I know, I should think positive, but I just can’t. Not that I really did very bad at it. But I am really trying my hardest to make higher grades in Filipino. And because of what had happened, I got depressed again, and I now feel hopeless. I need something to make me happy.

I am also frustrated over petty, trivial things. I am frustrated about still not having something to wear for Prom, for still not having my mask, for not having enough money to meet my school needs and the likes. I am frustrated that I still don’t have the only thing that I would want right now. I am mad that my MP3 won’t work. I hate the fact that I don’t get the things my way.

And the results? I get irritated easily. I don’t like too much noise. I don’t like to think too much. I hate every little thing that I see. I hate interacting with people. I am even mean to Zandro, my best friend – my best friend! I just want to cry this out. But I chose not to, because I will get sleepy, and I need to start my work on many things. But I hope doing this works. Sigh.

I so wish that I am Harry Potter, with his eleven-inch wand, made from holly with a phoenix feather core. If I could only swish it and chant Expecto Patronum. I need anything sweet and exciting, happiness and someone to cry into.

Missed You

Missed

I don’t know where the sun went
When you went away
When my eyes can’t see you
You didn’t say goodbye
Passed me by just so I could see you.. No.
One last time to tell you
That somehow I’ll miss you

Chorus:
But I missed you
Bet you see right through
I’m just putting up a mask to hide from you
I have missed you
But did you miss me too?
Coz first I have to hear those words from you
So say it now, please..
I’ve missed you. I’ve missed you.

I hoped and prayed each day
While you were away
That someday I’d see you
So forgotten you’ll be back
Now you’re back.. Do I wanna see you? No.
Coz you made me a stranger
That you don’t remember
(Repeat Chorus)

Bridge:
If you think I`ll stay forever
Think again coz no, not ever
I can only wait for so long
I can`t keep on holding on.. No.

(Repeat Chorus)

MYX VOTE MISSED YOU to 2366

Greetings

Happy Valentine's Day!

(I won't be able to go online on the 14th, because I need to review for our Prelims.)
Share the love! ♥

Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Welcome the year with fortune and prosperity. :)

Pop Class

Pop

In the tradition of the Glee, Camp Rock and High School Musical of the “tween” revolution, “Pop Class” is a ground-breaking concept: a mini-movie-musical and a brand new album from Universal Records by Sam Concepcion–all rolled into one!
Sam (Concepcion) and Chesca (Ortega) are on their way to fulfilling their pop dreams as the most promising students in their Pop Class (a Pop Performance Workshop Class they have religiously attended every summer since they were kids). But when Chesca inexplicably drops out, Sam is devastated and falls into an uninspired artistic rut. Will his best friend Chesca’s coming back–years after–take him out of his misery or make matters worse (since the school is about to close)? With a spirited production of cool dance sequences and new tween music, “Pop Class” will surely make you fall in love and prove that “you can never just walk away from your dreams”.
