Hello College!

Unlike what I first felt before high school, I am no longer dreading for college. I am no longer afraid of what the future might bring. I understand that I am in for tougher and harder works. But because of what my high school experience had taught me, I will not be a scared cat anymore. All geared up for college, I will be the best that I can be. I am determined to succeed, and to reach the dreams within me.

Excerpt from my Valedictory address. The photo above shows my class schedule for the first term in Treston International College, under BS Travel Management.

Yes, Travel Management. I left my “I-want-to-be-a-journalist” dream behind. But I don’t regret (I hope I won’t) my decisions, though. Well, think about it. I don’t need to take a degree in Journalism just to be able to pursue what I love – which is writing. I can be a writer anytime I would want to be, right? So I chose Travel Management. It’s a good choice. There’ll be a lot of opportunities for this degree (I would want to be an ambassadress someday!). And I think Treston Int’l College is a good school (though their website is a little late and “down-dated”). By the way, our batch is the very first one in this school (newly built college). We call ourselves, Pioneer Trestonites. Dope, I know. Ha!

So, wherever life will take me... I trust God. :)

I am determined to succeed, and to reach the dreams within me.
