01 July 2010: Long Drastic Time

This day was so tiring and drastic like the fiery hell.

We only have 3 subjects for Thursday: PE 1, Psychology, and Philippine History, but we need to be in school from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Dang. Just like last Tuesday, we met our professors for the said subjects the first time. Prof. Teodoro and Dr. Capulong will be our instructor for PE 1 and Psychology, respectively. Our supposed to be History professor was unfortunately out, so Prof. Mandrake took over the class for the mean time.

PE 1 was very fun. Prof. Teodoro was funny and very teenager-like. I am actually excited for our physical exams, though I really think I’d flunked on some of the exercises. My body is weak when it comes to physical exertion, honestly. I only passed my MAPEH subject back in high school because of my written exams. But in college, PE has no written exams. Oh no. Fail.

We’ve heard from the other students that the Psychology professor is a “terror.” I wasn’t really afraid; I was just worried about her giving us homework this early. Well, she was strict, direct to the point when speaking, looks very professional, but fair enough. We all ended up liking her because she dismissed us early! Like, we only had an hour with her, so we had an almost 4-hour break. Long, drastic time of waiting and testing patience.

I was so sleepy on the black couch in the lounge, so I had decided to visit my sanctuary again. I’ll never get tired of stopping over that big, big, full of books place. I could even die reading there! Martin Piscos came with me, but I didn’t notice him anymore when I restarted reading Catching Fire. That was an exaggeration! I noticed people, of course. I even caught a glimpse of Liza Macuja, the famous ballerina. She was there with her children.

We ate at McDonald’s in Market! Market!, and arrived early in school. We visited the school library, which was a bit bigger and “cleaner” (I meant not too much books) than the norm. We met Kolin Villanueva and his gang inside. Wow. They were doing their Economics assignment. I hate Kolin; he always calls me “Valedictorian.” Duh, I have a name! Bluffing on the side.

History was a combination of fun and boring. I was quite glad that Prof. Mandrake handled us, but I also didn’t like it. Bipolar me. He talked sense, really. I learned so much from him, but he’s too talkative. He kept on giving examples and stuffs which we sometimes couldn’t relate to, told jokes that we easily could understand, and asked questions that we couldn’t answer. But he’s really good. He had just showed off his extra knowledge and talking expertise in the wrong time. Sleepy, groggy time. We were dismissed earlier eventually. Thank you!

It was a long and tiring day. I could lose pounds in just a week, and my throat is swelling. Hello weekend sickness!
