Hormones and Zombies
I was supposed to post a photo blog of our Hospitality Management Week, but I’m just so excited and euphoric about this entry that it couldn’t wait another time to be posted. Anyway, remember my notebook dedicated only for Sam Concepcion, where I write my takes on his performances or his projects? Well, hooray, it’s back! I want Sam to read this, and I don’t care if I’d lose face because of this. I just want him to know what I want to say… I hope he gets to read this. Baam!
Samuel,
Hey Sam! I just want you to know that I’m very happy for what you’ve been achieving this year. I know, it’s just the start of 2011, but you opened it with a bang, bang, and bang! I’m really happy for and proud of you. Like, imagine, you’re still very young, but your accomplishments are beyond your age. You’re just so cool.
Let’s start off with your recent achievement: Taylor Swift’s concert. When I first learned about it, I was just like this: :O Can you imagine that? Eyes wide open, mouth gaping. I wasn’t sure if it was true, so I checked your tweets, and it’s true! Seriously. I wanted to scream, cry, and dance all at the same time. You’re opening for her concert not just in Manila, but in her Asian tours, as well. Whole Asian tours! ASDFGHJKL! I became quite illiterate because of that news. I don’t know what to actually say, except for “Oh my God,” “What the hell?!,” “Freakin’ cool!,” and “Awesome!” You always make me say senseless stuff. HAHAHA. Just kidding. Plus, you’re actually handpicked by the Swifty herself. What if you were also chosen by other foreign artists after Taylor? Like maybe, Justin Bieber for his concert in May? OMG, that’ll be so cool.
Next, your MMK episode was really cute. Even though you just showed up for three scenes, it was phenomenal. I’ve got loads of reactions and comments for you and the “Tropeo” episode. First, your voice was, umm, sexy. HAHA. Sexy, really. I laughed when you said, “Siya ang first crush ko. ‘Pag nakikita ko siya, kinikilig ako.” I felt giddy, as well, and that’s ridiculous.
Second, your shorter hair looks good on you. Some Samsters say that they miss your longer hair, but I don’t. I think it’s really awesome. It’s manly and clean, and that spiky-thing that you do with it is cute. And you’re so tall already! How tall can you go, eh? The last time I met you (which was your birthday), you were taller than me by almost half a foot… but now, it seems like I can’t reach you anymore. Your growth hormones are crazy! HAHA.
Third, why didn’t you sing? I was actually waiting for it. I told my Mom and my brother to not sleep yet, because I want them to hear you sing and prove that your voice isn’t that high-pitched (like what they say) anymore. They teased me when the show ended and you didn’t sing. But it was fine. At least you get to act and say, “Mahal na mahal kita Solly. Bata pa lang ako, mahal na kita.” It was really awkward, and I thought you were going to kiss Toni, but you didn’t. And I was waiting for her to slap you. I was like, “Toni slaps so hard. I hope you wouldn’t get one.” Thank goodness she didn’t, or I would have laughed and cried (yes, I can do both). HAHA.
Lastly, when I was watching the first part of the episode, I learned that Ernesto JR’s family is musically inclined (and that’s when I started hoping that you’re gonna sing). Then, I remembered the dream I once had, way back in 2009, I think. In my dream, you were the main character in an MMK episode where you played a less-fortunate but talented singer. And you were tan. Yes, TAN. You were a school cleaner, and you were singing while mopping the cafeteria. It was a bit weird, but the story’s inspiring. I’ve always wanted to see you play a role like that. I hope it’ll happen in the future. You with a tan = interesting. :P
Anyway, I hope your blessing will come hundred-fold. You’re such an awesome guy. Stay that way, and rehearse for Shout Out and Taylor Swift’s concert, okay? I hope I’d get to see you soon. Take care always, sleep, and don’t “Zombie Mode.” HAHAHA.
♥ always,
Faye

Profile
Already several months had passed, and I am missing
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry more and more each fleeting day. There are just some things in life that we can never forget – especially that something that had given us knowledge, skills, strong relationships and a second home. I am glad that everything in the magical world is now at peace, since Voldemort (yes, I can now say his name; no need to be afraid) had died. I had secretly admired Tom Marvolo Riddle (Voldemort’s birth name) though, because of his intelligence, passion and love for magic. Wasn’t he very clever to think of and conjure his seven
Horcruxes to preserve his life, or form a clan of
Death Eaters who were very loyal to him and would give up their lives just for him to succeed? Not everybody can acquire that much loyalty from people these days. I do not, however, admire him for the way he had carried out all of his plans. He had a good agenda, his means just weren’t morally right. But he still is one of the darkest wizards of all time… and let’s leave it that way.
Oh, for all those who are baffled of what I’m saying here and who the heck I am, my name is
Christine Faye Ordas, and I am an alumnus of Hogwarts. I came from the bronze-and-blue-clad house of the smart ass witch Rowena Ravenclaw and her dictum
“Wit beyond measure is a man’s greatest treasure.” And yes, I know the wonderful Luna Lovegood (she’s such a darling) and Harry Potter’s first crush Cho Chang. I had just left Hogwarts last May. Right now I am trying to pursue a career in magical researches, literature and writing. It’s my dream to inscribe intellectual books, publish and sell them in
Flourish and Blotts for the future Hogwarts students’ use. I am also planning to credibly write for the
Daily Prophet, the magical world’s primary news bulletin. And of course, I will be very much honored to contribute to Mr. Xenophilius Lovegood’s
Quibbler (hence, my interest in magical researches). I have always found the Lovegoods a fascinating family, and I bet working with and for them will be very exciting. Or maybe, in Merlin’s beard’s time, I can write legends and bedtime stories like the famous – and wickedly brilliant – Beedle the Bard.
And that’s how my life goes these days. I am utterly missing my old school, my friends, the Great Hall, the bronze eagle knocker just outside the Ravenclaw common room, Professor Flitwick (the head of our house), Hogsmeade, the Quidditch matches (although I didn’t actually play for the house), the moving portraits, the castle ghosts, the pumpkins on Halloween, the giant pine trees on Christmas, Rubeus Hagrid’s (Hogwarts’ gamekeeper) tea and treacle fudge – even the crabby Argus Filch (Hogwarts’ caretaker) I miss. Maybe I can visit the school grounds sometimes and see how the magical world’s been doing since Voldemort died (I’ve been spending my months in the muggle world, you see). I’ve heard everybody’s been moving on and starting all over again; the ministry is back on work under Kingsley Shacklebolt; and Harry Potter’s scar haven’t been disturbing him since.
All is well, indeed.
And because of that, we should celebrate and drink firewhisky! Oh, I still don’t drink firewhisky; I can take butterbeer or tea or pumpkin juice – just not firewhisky, please.
